On the island by tracey Gravis Graves

On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves

Let me just start off by saying this is amazing book. It starts off in america when T.J. and Anna are leaving for the Maldives. T.J really doesn't want to leave for the summer he would rather stay home and visit his friends. You see T.J was really sick with cancer months earlier and missed a bunch of his schooling, that's where Anna come in she is his new tutor. Well Anna and T.J. leave on a different plane then is parents so that they can leave at a later time but they run in to issues with there plane and have to take a different one. Due to this the pilot and them are the only ones on the plane, but the pilot has a heart attack as they are flying... i'll just stop there ;)

I would give it a 9 out of ten stars

There is quite a bit of swearing and there are a few sex scenes

There is a bit of gore but not much I would put this as a older young adult book...

Ascend by Amanda Hocking

Ascend by Amanda Hocking

In this book Wendy has many choices to make like Finn or Loki, love or her people and Trylle or Vittra.  Wendy is going to be queen very soon so all of the questions have came to her view will she choose to give herself up to the Vittra to save her people and leave the throne to her arranged husband Tove or will she find a way to kill the king and lead her people to peace?

I would give this book a 8 out of 10

There is a little swearing and also a couple scenes of intercourse but it doesn't really go in to details

There is fighting it is a bit gory like decapitation and sword ran thought people.

Torn by Amanda Hockings

This book was about how Wendy is handling being a princess and it starts out at her house after she ran away. She learns that he father isn't really dead and that her father really wants her with him. He is more then willing to kidnap her and her "host" family. Along with this she has to deal with her old tracker Finn being in her house to protect her. Which wouldn't be bad but he wont talk to her.

I would give this book a 7 out of 10

There is some swearing and a few kissing scenes.

There is fighting but its not to gory.

Out of Reach by Carrie Arcos

Out of Reach by Carrie Arcos

The story is about Rachel's search for her brother Micah and some of the memories she shares with him. Rachel gets the help of Micah friend Tyler to find Micah after he ran away from home. Micah is addicted to crystal meth and in the search to find him Rachel and Tyler find out a lot about Micah and of each other.

The book has a few "major" swears but by far isn't the worse I have read

Only hints at past intercourse

There is a lot of talking about god but it is in more of a joking way. It isn't promoting it but it also isn't completely trashing it either.

only has one scene with fighting and it was only what the characters hear.

I give this book a 8 out of ten

Sapphire Blue by Kerstin Gier

Sapphire Blue by Kerstin Gier

The second book in the Ruby Red trilogy

This book is about a young time traveler trying to fulfill the prophecy of her kind, but she is not alone. She has the help of he male time traveling counter part. In this book they have to fight off attempts on there lives, possible feelings for each other and somehow still act like normal teens.

There is very little swearing just S*** a couple times.

Only a couple kissing scenes.

There is also a little religion, which would be a few scenes in a church.

There was a few fighting scenes but nothing gory.

I would give this book a 4 out of 10 it wasn't bad but it was slow moving and nothing really happened to help the quest.

Switched by Amanda Hocking

Switched by Amanda hocking

This book is about a girl named Wendy who learns her whole life had been pretty much a lie. At her sixth birthday when her mother tried to kill her, she had a real reason to. Since then she has lived with her aunt and brother whose name is Matt. While she was at her newest school she ran in a boy named Finn who later tells her what she really is (which is a changeling.) and why she never fit in at any of her schools.

I would give this book a 7 out of 10 (this would be the second time I have read it so that may have some negative scoring)

The language wasn't that bad but a few words still popped up at times.

There was a few kissing scenes and a older guy hinting to her she should do stuff with him but Wendy would never do that with him.

Hello my name is Katelyn I'm new to blogger so sorry if my blog is really crappy but I'm planing on reviewing all of the books I read which happens to be a lot.... I will rate it on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) and will include what the language is like along with what the degree of sexual content is if any. Well I hope you enjoy my blog and feel free to recommend books <3
